Friday Evening, Saturday& Sunday 0930 till 1730

Difficulty: Beginners

Learn to Sail

Enjoy a weekend sail whilst learning and gain an RYA qualification, as a beginner you can complete the Start yachting course with one weekend, select another weekend to complete the Competent Crew.

Pre experience required

None required, this is a great way to try sailing with expert tuition and a lovely sailing yacht

Course includes

Certificate, lunches onboard and accommodation if required.

Course numbers

We limit our numbers on the courses to a maximum of 5 persons to ensure you have plenty of time on the helm with an experienced RYA instructor to guide you through.This is a very hands on practical course

Trimming and steering
Wind awareness,
Tacking and Gybing
Anchor and go for a Swim!
Mooring up, rope work

What type of boat?

We use a lovely Beneteau Oceanis 41 Express, great performance and comfort onboard

Do I get a certificate?

Yes, and with a further weekends worth of training you can then gain the RYA Competent Crew course

Will I get to practice lots?

We run with low numbers so you get plenty of time on the helm and crewing with the ropes trimming sails, tacking and Gybing. So plenty of hands on time!

We will provide lunch onboard
Small bag with extra layers, there is storage on the boat
Non slip or trainer style shoe
Waterproofs
Sun block and hat for those sunny days

					  What a fantastic two hours sailing along the coast of Barcelona. The views are amazing and such a wonderful way to get some peace and tranquility.  It was such... read more a relaxing experience. I have always loved sailing since childhood,  but I don’t get chance to do any now. This was a lovely opportunity to get back out on the water and brush those cobwebs away.

The skipper Faith, was so friendly and clearly very experienced. The safety briefing was excellent and reassured my land capped friends.

The boat called ‘No limits’ sails really well, is clean and spacious.

This is truly an experience to suit all,  My friends settled down in the cockpit, wrapped up in blankets (all provided) drinking Cava and eating Olives and snacks whilst I get involved in sailing the boat. 

I highly recommend this sailing trip to all, it really does cater for everyone.  I will be booking my next trip with Barcelona Watersports.

The 2 crew members, Unay and Ivy, were amazing and their... read more attitude and professionaiism made our experience a wonderful one.  We all loved the way they treated us and I would highly recommend  any type of excursion with these two.  Our experience was memorable and they were a big part of that!!!
