International skippering license

Day skipper course is Ideal to charter and own a boat, the practical 5 day course is an international recognised qualification

Pre experience required

Anybody undertaking this course must have some basic skills of the Competent Crew course, or the equivalent experience. If you have wind awareness, can steer, trim the sails, understand about taking, Gybing and setting the sails then you can go straight onto this course.

Course includes

First 2 days in our classroom Saturday and Sunday,  followed by 5 days practical onboard our Beneteau Oceanis 41 Express yacht Monday to Friday which includes accommodation onboard , breakfast and lunches. Then finishing off the theory over the second weekend and final exams

Amazing locations to visit on the Costa Brava and Costa Dorada coastline including the lovely ports of Sitges and Blanes or spend the night at anchor sheltered off Tossa De Mar.

Course numbers

We limit our numbers on the courses to a maximum of 5 persons to ensure you have plenty of time on the helm with an experienced RYA instructor to guide you through.This is a very hands on practical course
