RYA Dayskipper Theory



A pre requirement for the RYA Day skipper practical this course will go through all the navigation, rules of the road, safety, lights and day shapes, weather and passage planning. It is a comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers and is an essential preparation for our RYA Dayskipper practical course

Course Objective: You will be able to navigate around familiar waters by day.

Duration: 5 days

Course Assessment: Two exam papers

Prerequisite: RYA Competent Crew practical or equivalent experience
